Customer Service - Weekend Position
Cross Country Rentals, a division of the award-winning Tranzit Group, is a Kiwi family owned and operated vehicle rental company experiencing rapid growth across niche locations throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
We operate Special Education School Transport Assistance (SESTA) contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Education and transport special needs children to and from school or respite care.
We're seeking a motivated, hands-on person to join our Masterton team. This is a part-time weekend role which requires you to work 8 hours on a Saturday and 2-3 hours on a Sunday as required. There is also potential to grow the role into something more full-time for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include vehicle grooming, general house-keeping of the office and yard, customer service, taking bookings, and checking vehicles in and out.
This is a challenging role and not for the fainthearted. You won't be afraid to get your hands dirty, as this role includes grooming vehicles. You'll need to be computer literate, have held a full car licence for more than 2 years with the ability to pass a Police Vetting Check. A passion working with vehicles and people is a must as well as a wicked sense of humour.
To be successful you will:
- Be computer literate.
- Have the ability to pass a police check.
- Possess a strong working ethic.
- Have an eye for detail.
- Have a full clean drivers licence.
The role will involve contact with our clients so a tidy appearance and outgoing friendly manner is essential to this role. A Class 2 and Passenger Endorsement would be ideal however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
