Operations Coordinator
At Tranzit Coachlines Taranaki, we're proud to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality transport services across the region. We're now looking for a new Operations Coordinator to join us as we farewell a much-loved team member who is retiring after 17 wonderful years with the business.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll be right at the heart of our operation, supporting our drivers, customers, and wider team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
About the role
As our Operations Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations. You'll be the first point of contact for enquiries and will help keep things on track across a range of operational and administrative functions.
Providing operations and administrative support to the wider team
Acting as the first point of contact for phone calls, enquiries, and customer feedback
Supporting bookings and quote requests
Assisting with driver compliance and licence requirements
Supporting the team to monitor and manage KPIs
Assisting with investigations and follow-up actions
Cash Handling and Banking
Participating in an after-hours on-call roster (rotational basis)
We are looking for:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and new systems
High attention to detail and accountability
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure
Experience in transport or operations is an advantage
