A new opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team!

As a family owned company with deep Wairarapa roots, we offer a supportive, collaborative environment where you can grow your payroll skills and make a real impact. This is a full time (Monday to Friday), permanent position based at our head office in central Masterton.

Tranzit Group employs over 2000 team members nationwide and is currently on a journey of accelerating growth after recently celebrating our centenary! With the expansion of the Tranzit group of companies, we are looking for a payroll administrator to support us with timely and efficient weekly payroll processing using our payroll system, MYOB PayGlobal.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least two years' experience in payroll administration (experience with MYOB PayGlobal would be nice, but not a must!).

• A positive attitude and a team-player approach/ willingness to help others.

• Strong computer skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Great communication, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work autonomously and be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.

• An understanding of employment legislation and the Holidays Act would be an advantage, but we can offer additional training in this area for the right candidate.

We are a busy, supportive, and fun team who are committed to on-time and accurate payroll processing. You would be joining an established team of 8 (including Manager, Senior and 6 Administrators).
