Operations Assistant
We're looking for an Operations Assistant to join our Waipā operations team. This is a varied role where you'll be supporting our drivers and supervisor to ensure the smooth delivery of our urban services, while also getting behind the wheel yourself.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Operations Supervisor in engaging with and supporting our driving team.
- Helping lead the day-to-day delivery of our urban services, making sure our fleet runs safely, reliably, and on time.
- Being a health & safety champion, always keeping the wellbeing of the team and our customers front of mind.
- Taking on some administrative duties including: banking, rostering, and scheduling.
- Supporting new drivers with route and vehicle familiarisation.
- managing vehicle repairs and fleet maintenance and compliance,
- Driving a rostered service run as part of your regular duties.
- Overseeing cleaning schedules for our vehicles and depot facilities.
About you
- Strong communication and people skills - you enjoy working with and supporting others.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on safety and reliability.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves - whether that's helping with admin, driving a service, or supporting drivers.
- A Class 4 licence with P endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexibilty is required as our services operate across a 7 day roster.
