Diesel Mechanic

Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a hands-on role with structure and the chance to make a real impact? Our Whanganui workshop is growing, and we're looking for someone to take the lead in maintaining our regional urban fleet.

What will your workday look like?

  • Perform routine servicing and minor repairs to keep our fleet road ready.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults across a varied fleet of school/urban buses.
  • Coordinate with external providers for maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and quality.

Who are we looking for:

  • A skilled and qualified Diesel Mechanic who can work independently while being part of a wider support network.
  • Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills.
  • A team player who can coordinate with external service providers and internal support teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage third-party service providers.
  • Full NZ driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
