Operations Assistant

Pacific Tourways Auckland is part of The Tranzit Group, a family owned, award-winning company and one of the largest transport operators in New Zealand. We offer a variety of services to all locations across New Zealand.

Our Auckland operation is a busy operator of premium touring coaches nationwide supplying coaches to operators such as Great Sights and Grand Pacific Tours, and provider of contracted services to Auckland Explorer Bus and Auckland University of Technology.

We are seeking an Operations Assistant to support our operations team. Key responsibilities include daily processing of tour bookings, liaise with clients preparing quotes, invoices, compiling patronage reports for contracted services, support with processing timesheets, banking and reconciliation for contracted services.

This is a full time position and requires you to work out of our Mangere depot. To ensure we are supporting the business needs the hours will be Monday to Friday in our low season (1st of May - 31st of August) and Tuesday to Saturday in our peak season (1st of September to 30th of April).

About the role:

  • Based in our Auckland office near the International Airport you'll be working directly alongside the operations team,
  • Full time salaried position (45 hours per week),
  • Varied work with no two days the same,
  • Transport or Operations experience is an advantage but not essential,

About you:

  • Computer Savvy with levels of accuracy second to none,
  • Exceptional communication skills,
  • A current, clean full drivers' licence, Class 2 or Class 4 licence an advantage!
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills,
  • Positive energy and sense of humour,
